Due to the factors of environment and time when the submersible pump is working, some failures will inevitably occur. In order to improve its working efficiency, we must find out the reasons and eliminate the failure of the submersible pump in time.
1. The operation of the submersible pump has abnormal vibration and instability
The main reasons for abnormal vibration and instability in the operation of submersible pumps and their elimination methods:
1. The anchor bolts of the pump base are not tightened or loose. (Tighten all anchor bolts evenly)
2. There is no independent support for the water outlet pipeline, and the vibration of the pipeline affects the pump. (Set up independent and stable support for the outlet pipe of the pump, and do not allow the flange of the outlet pipe of the pump to bear the load)
3. The quality of the impeller is unbalanced or even damaged or the installation is loose. (repair or replace the impeller)
4. The upper and lower bearings of the water pump are damaged. (replace the upper and lower bearings of the water pump)
2. The submersible pump does not produce water or the flow is insufficient
The main reasons why the submersible pump often has insufficient flow or no water during operation and how to eliminate it:
1. The installation height of the water pump is too high, so that the immersion depth of the impeller is not enough, resulting in a decrease in the water output of the pump. (Control the allowable deviation of the installation elevation of the water pump and cannot be expanded at will)
2. The pump turns in the opposite direction. (The motor should be idling before the test run of the water pump, and the steering should be checked to make it consistent with the water pump. If the above situation occurs during use, check whether the phase sequence of the power supply changes.)
3. The outlet valve cannot be opened. (Check the valve and perform maintenance on the valve frequently)
4. The water outlet pipeline is not smooth or the impeller is blocked. (Clean up the blockages in the pipeline and impeller, and often salvage the debris in the reservoir)
5. The wear ring at the lower end of the water pump is seriously worn or blocked by debris. (Replace the lower wear ring and clean up debris)
6. The density of the pumped liquid is too high or the viscosity is too high. (re-equipped with matching pump)
7. The impeller falls off or is damaged. (reinstall or replace)
8. When multiple pumps share the pipeline output, there is no one-way valve installed or the one-way valve is not tightly sealed. (install one-way valve and replace one-way valve seal)
3. The submersible pump does not turn when it starts
The main reasons and troubleshooting methods for the submersible pump not starting:
1. The power switch and plug are not in good contact. (repair or replace)
2. The control line insurance is burned out. (replacement insurance)
3. The main circuit insurance is burned out. (replacement insurance)
4. The capacitor of the two-phase submersible pump is burned out. (replace the capacitor)
5. The three-phase submersible pump is out of phase. (turn on and off phase circuit)
