Working Principle And Structural Characteristics Of Centrifugal Pump

Jul 13, 2019

I. Structural Characteristics of Centrifugal Pumps

The structure of centrifugal pump is characterized by: in a volute-shaped pump case, an impeller which can rotate rapidly is installed in the blade.

There are 2 to 8 blades on the wheel. There are two interfaces on the pump housing, the inlet leading to the center of the impeller is connected with the suction pipeline; in the pump.

The tangent of the shell is the same as the outlet, which is connected with the discharge pipe, as shown in Figure 1-12.

The main working part of centrifugal pump is impeller. Secondly, the suction chamber, pump body (pump shell), pump cover and shaft encapsulation device (miserable)《

At this time, the liquid can be continuously inhaled from the inhalation mouth, discharged from the discharge port, and the liquid produces pressure and discharges to high places:

Commonly used centrifugal pump products are as follows

IS Single Stage Single Suction Centrifugal Pump

ISG Vertical Single-stage Pipeline Centrifugal Pump

ISW Type Direct Connection Single Stage Horizontal Centrifugal Pump

QDL Stainless Steel High-lift Multistage Centrifugal Pump

IH type stainless steel centrifugal pump for chemical industry

IHF acid-resistant lining fluorine chemical centrifugal pump

II. Working Principle of Centrifugal Pump

Before starting, the liquid should be filled from the funnel into the pump housing and suction pipeline. When the impeller rotates rapidly, the liquid in the impeller rotates with the impeller impeller impeller impeller impeller impeller impeller impeller impeller impeller impeller impeller impeller impeller impeller impeller impeller impeller impeller impeller impeller impeller impeller impeller impeller impeller impeller impeller impeller impeller impeller impeller impeller impe When the liquid flows to the diffuser, because the cross-section area of the liquid flow is gradually enlarged and the flow velocity is slowed down, a part of kinetic energy is transformed into a static energy head, so that the pressure rises, and finally the pressure is extruded from the discharge pipe. At the same time, due to the liquid being thrown out in the center of the impeller, a local vacuum is generated, so the liquid in the suction tank is continuously sucked into the pump from the suction pipe under the action of liquid pressure. The impeller rotates continuously, and the liquid is continuously sent from the suction tank to the high groove or pressure vessel.

Centrifugal pump can transport liquid by means of high-speed rotating impeller to make the liquid subject to centrifugal force, so it is called centrifugal pump.
