Because the turbocharger often works at high speed and high Supercharger, the temperature of the exhaust gas turbine end of the Supercharger is 700-900 C, and the turbocharger rotor rotates at a high speed of several tens of thousands to more than 200,000 revolutions, the following points should be paid attention to in order to ensure the normal operation of the turbocharger: 

You can't walk without a car.

After the engine is started, especially in winter, it should be allowed to idle for a period of time so that the lubricating oil can fully lubricate the bearing before the turbocharger rotor runs at high speed. So, after you start, you must not bang the accelerator to prevent damage to the turbocharger oil seal.

Can not immediately extinguish fire.

After the engine runs for a long time, it can not immediately turn off. When the engine is working, part of the oil is supplied to the turbocharger rotor bearing for lubrication and cooling. When a running engine suddenly stops working, the oil pressure drops rapidly to zero, the high temperature of the turbocharger turbine part reaches the middle, the heat in the bearing support shell can not be quickly taken away, and the turbocharger rotor is still rotating at high speed under inertia. Therefore, if the engine stops suddenly, the turbine will be caused. The oil in the supercharger is overheated and damaged the bearing and shaft. In particular, we should prevent sudden flameout after several foot throttle.

Keep clean

When dismantling the supercharger, keep it clean. All pipe joints must be blocked with clean cloth to prevent sundries from falling into the supercharger and damaging the rotor. Pay attention to avoid impacting and damaging the impeller during maintenance. If the impeller needs to be replaced, dynamic balance test should be done. After reloading, remove the blockage.

Because turbochargers operate at high temperatures.

Its lubricating oil pipeline is subject to high temperature, the internal oil is easy to be partially coked, which will cause insufficient lubrication of the supercharger bearing and damage. Therefore, the lubricating oil pipeline should be cleaned after running for a period of time.
